WOOD ARBOR, TRELLIS OR SCULPTURE

I love the idea of something Chinese.  This would be inexpensive to make.  We could even add an old Antique Chinese Store sign to the post.  What a unique focal at the back of the pool deck leading into the garden.

Other ideas

Repeating the circle of the gate to the design of the trellis.  But the trellis would have to be built as 3 dimensional outside the gate.  The gate opens into the trellis. Would need 4 posts.

This idea is the high quote.  Building the wood posts into the concrete pillars.

This is a single pair of posts - we have 4 pillars so it would be double the size. 

Would it be half the price if we took a pillar out?
